At Modern Sleep, we stand behind the quality of our products. To give you peace of mind, we offer a 1-year guarantee and a 20-year warranty on all our mattresses and mattress protectors. Please read below for more details:

Guarantee Information:
We offer a 1-year guarantee on all our mattresses and mattress protectors. If you experience any issues within the first year of purchase, we will repair or replace the product at no additional cost to you.

Warranty Information:
We offer a 20-year warranty on all our mattresses and mattress protectors to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship and is valid from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Weight Recommendations:
We recommend the following ideal weights for each type of mattress per person:
• Turn-free mattress: up to 90 kg
• Turnable mattress: up to 136 kg
• Pillow top mattress: up to 180 kg
• Pocket mattress: up to 220 kg
• Pocket+ memory mattress: up to 210 kg
• Full foam mattress: up to 220 kg

Retention and Usability:
At the recommended weights, our mattresses will retain their shape for 5 years and will be usable for 10 years.

What is covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of our bed products, including but not limited to:
• Sagging or indentations in the mattress greater than 1.5 inches, not caused by improper and/or negligent use or a faulty foundation.
• Physical flaws or defects in the materials used that cause the mattress to split or crack, in circumstances where such physical flaws and/or defects are a direct result of improper and/or negligent use.
• Any manufacturing defect in the zipper or the cover of the mattress.
• Mattress protectors: defects in materials or workmanship that affect the performance of the protector.
• Storage bases: issues related to structural defects that affect the usability or storage function.
• Headboards: manufacturing defects affecting durability or functionality.

What is Not Covered?
This warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear of the product.
• Any damage caused by misuse or abuse, such as stains, burns, cuts, or tears.
• Any damage caused by a non-flat, non-supportive foundation or platform bed frame.
• Any damage caused by using the mattress with an adjustable bed frame.
• Any damage caused by a non-Modern Sleep approved cleaning method or product.
• Comfort preferences of the customer.
• Normal wear and tear or misuse of headboards and storage bases.

How to lodge a Claim
If you believe that your Modern Sleep product (mattress, mattress protector, headboard, or storage base) has a defect covered under this warranty, please contact our customer service team by emailing admin@modernsleep.co.za or calling 079 194 2257. We will require proof of purchase and photographs of the product in question.

Once we have received this information, we will evaluate your claim and determine the best course of action. We may require that the product be returned to us for inspection or send a representative to inspect the product on site.
If the product is found to have a defect covered under this warranty, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. If the product is no longer available, we may replace it with a comparable product.

Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Modern Sleep for our bed products, and there are no other warranties, express or implied. This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages, and our liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights.
